Darling Allie was born in September 2003. Her special needs are scoliosis and repaired cleft lip and palate. More about her:
"Allie can take care of herself well, under foster parents direction she can complete daily life work, and she can also help parents do some simple house work, such as: do some cleaning. Her intelligence is good, can get things very fast, has a good memory, can recite more than 30 poems, can speak clearly. Once you speak out a Chinese character, she will use Chinese phonetic alphabet to spell it; and you give her the Chinese phonetic alphabet, she will speak out the Chinese character.
Because of her scoliosis, her head always leans to right side, but this does not influence her daily life. Her language expression is good, can speak clearly. Now she is studying in pre-school class, can write more than 30 Chinese characters; in spring festival get-together she read wo he wo de zu guo aloud with expression together with her foster mother, and the performance is very good."

Mindy - 13 - China **Aging Out**
Beautiful Mindy was born in December, 1999, so she'll be aging out at the end of this year. She needs a family fast! Her special need is moderate cerebral palsy. She requires a wheelchair to get around, but she has excellent self-care abilities. More about Mindy from a fellow advocate:
"Mindy is a beautiful 13 year old girl with an incredible spirit! She was abandoned at age 6, but in spite of that, she has an optimistic and thankful heart. She likes to sing and hum throughout her day, she is honest and accepts correction well. She has good judgment, has a great thirst for knowledge, good understanding and excellent study habits. She attends school in the orphanage. She is talkative and friendly, and a good communicator. She has moderate cerebral palsy and requires a wheelchair to get around, but her speech is clear and she is working hard on her English.
Due to Chinese law that forbids adoption after age 14, Mindy only has 6 more months to be adopted, or she will live in the orphanage for the rest of her life. This is called "aging-out." A family starting from scratch CAN still adopt her in time (we adopted our aging-out daughter in 5 months flat last year so I can help!)."
Mindy is on the Shared List. I have more photos and a video of her. Mindy longs with all her heart to be a daughter and sister! Please contact me for more information!
